The Pod Awards is designed to make participation easy to understand and results easy to defend. The active award cycle publishes its eligibility dates, nomination window, voting windows, and certification milestones before each stage begins.
The rules protect the competition; they do not replace the public vote.
Eligibility
Entries must fit the published Category and Award, satisfy the active-cycle eligibility dates, and provide enough information for the awards team to review the work. The team may request supporting information before an entry advances.
Nominations
Fans, creators, representatives, and networks may submit eligible work. Duplicate submissions can be consolidated so the same nominee is not fragmented across multiple records. Submission does not guarantee publication on the ballot.
Round 1 voting
Public voters can open the ballot and vote without creating an account or completing an email-verification step. A browser session keeps the active ballot connected while the voting window remains open.
Integrity review
Automated rules can surface unusual voting patterns for human review. A signal is not proof of misconduct. Votes are invalidated only after a documented decision, and administrative actions remain in the audit history.
Top 3 and final vote
After Round 1 closes and integrity review is completed, the three leading valid vote-getters in each Award advance to the final public round. Finalists are not selected by a private judging panel.
Winner certification
The nominee with the highest valid final-round vote total becomes the winner after final integrity review. A tie or unresolved integrity case prevents certification until the published resolution process is complete.
